An action-packed Seven Oak Kinloch Triathlon Festival took place last weekend, with more than 400 competitors and supporters enjoying the serene village atmosphere.
Tri Sport Taupō co-ordinates the festival, which celebrated its 41st year of running. It was previously known as the Taupō Triathlon, making it the oldest triathlon in New Zealand.
There was something for all ages and abilities, from our youngest competitors enjoying the splash and dash race to the more experienced racing across several distances of triathlon.
There was open water swimming, an aquathon swim-run, aquabike swim-bike and traditional triathlon races; swim-bike-run.
This event was supported by Seven Oak Developments, Baileys, Seays, Kefi, My Ride, Lion Foundation, Triathlon New Zealand, Taupō District Council and the Kinloch community.
