Showjumping winners to be decided in Taupō
Julie Davey, 2025 Horse of the Year Olympic Cup Champion on Just Dee at last year’s National Series Finals at the Fiber Fresh National Equestrian Centre Taupō.
The New Zealand Show Jumping Season comes to an end this weekend with the final rounds of the National Series competition taking place in Taupō at the National Equestrian Centre from Thursday.
The show jumping season began in late August and runs most weekends at events throughout the country.
Horse age-group classes
East Coast Performance Horse 5-year-old
NZ Warmblood Association 6-year-old
NZPH and A1 Equine Reproduction 7-year-old Breeding Series.
Rider series
Mainland Coachwork Junior Rider (up to 18 years)
Dunstan Horse Feeds Amateur (over 21 years)
Brave Pants Company Pro-Am (over 21 years)
FMG Young Rider (up to 21 years)
AMS Saddlery Pony Grand Prix
Property Brokers Horse Grand Prix
Harrison Lane Premier League Series.
Double points will be on offer for the final round of each series and the top of the table in many of the series is extremely tight so the competition will be strong as the riders and their horses vie to be the 2025 series winner.
Competitors will travel from around the North Island as well and a number of South Islanders have made the trek north to Taupō to take part.
